COMPTON COURTHOUSE

Structural Upgrade for New Rooftop Cooling Towers

  • Safe and compliant asbestos removal to safeguard public health.
  • Enhanced structural integrity with reinforced steel beams.
  • Expert welding and fabrication to support new cooling system installations.
  • Seamless coordination with local authorities to meet stringent building standards.

Structural Upgrades

The Compton Courthouse required significant upgrades, and our team was responsible for key elements of the renovation:

  • Heavy Abatement and Asbestos Removal
Our highly trained specialists undertook meticulous abatement processes, removing hazardous asbestos materials throughout the facility. This process was executed with the highest levels of safety and compliance to ensure the courthouse could continue to serve the community in a safe environment for years to come.
  • Structural Upgrades
Given the need for new Cooling Towers on the roof, we reinforced the building’s structural integrity. This included the installation of additional structural steel beams and extensive welding work to support the new systems. Our structural engineering team collaborated closely with local officials to ensure that all upgrades adhered to California’s strict building codes and seismic requirements.
  • Cooling Tower Installation
The introduction of new Cooling Towers required a rethinking of the existing roof structure. Our team designed and implemented solutions that supported the increased load without compromising the courthouse’s overall stability. This project demanded precision and expertise, which we delivered efficiently.
